DESCRIPTION:

Virgin voyages was the first ocean cruise line in our portfolio due to their sustainable travel and diversity inclusive culture. We just didn't think cruising was going to be part of our group travel offerings and we're glad we had a change of heart and took the leap. This experience was more relaxing and thrilling than expected. It hit all the elements we look for in land travel; a chance to unplug, unwind, and unleash.

 

We were greeted daily with wonderful room service, excellent food (with the exception of dinner at the Wake), lots of unexpected entertainment - the live music was exceptional, parties that ignited our more youthful care-free side, and most importantly there were no obligations.

Sometimes we are required to work during travel because we have other travelers traveling, so the ability to plug-in when we need to and be completely off grid at other times is the level of unplug we subscribe to.

 

We returned to the states...refreshed with nothing but excitement about our next voyage. 

 

PRICE INCLUDED:

• All dinning experiences - exceptions are the upcharge options (seafood tower, tomahawk steaks, etc.)

• Entertainment - exceptions are alcohol related events, ship tours, and excursions

• Drinks - all essential drinks, exceptions are specialty coffee and libations

• Wifi - is unlimited, exception is if you desire to stream 

 

UNEXPECTED SURPRISES:

• Newcastle beer - became a top 10 favorite among Americans and then it disappeared. Shockingly enough, our voyage ran out of it 4 days in. 

• Wi-fi strength - unexpectedly reliable, note the signal is from Germany and may interfere with global vpn restrictions if you're opting to work remotely

• Adult entertainment - fantastically cheeky

 

OUR TIPS:

Come with an open mind. Formal attire is optional however we do recommend that you bring something red that you're ok with getting wet and Pj's for this massive adult sleepover.
